Monarch Compact Waist Pack Roe Sack

My old bum bag roe sack decided to give up the ghost. So, a year ago I decided I liked the look of the Monarch Compact Waist Pack Roe Sack and bought one from Rob and Jess at Monarch Country Products. After a year of heavy use, I have been delighted. The drawback with many waist roe sacks is that the sacks are not quite big enough to cover a roe completely. However, with the well- designed Monarch product this is not the case.

The sack is not attached to the waist band and comes out of its pouch when in use. It is generous in size, has a strong, removable, waterproof liner and the sack is extremely comfortable when loaded, a mature roe buck slips in easily to be covered completely once in the sack and the flap has been fastened down. Once the work is done, the sack is easy to fold and pack back into its pouch.

There are also a couple of extra pouches that attach to the belt for equipment, if you should need them. Attached around my waist I have found it secure and comfortable, loaded or not. I can even carry spare camera lenses in it. It is made from tough, military Cordura and has worked hard over the past year with no signs of wear. I can recommend it to anyone who finds the traditional roe sack unwieldly, as I do.
