What chair do you use?
Last issue you said you sat on a seat in your hide. What type of seat do you use?
Peter says: My seat of choice is an ordinary swivel office chair, and not the expensive technical models you see advertised in the shooting press. I am fortunate that I run car boot sales where perfectly serviceable chairs are routinely thrown in the skip. I’ve got at least three spares, and always look out for the lightweight models. The advantages of learning to shoot sitting down are numerous, including freedom from fatigue, a smaller hide, and being able to swivel round to take birds behind the hide if need be.
