What’s it all about, Alfie?

The quince yield has been reducing rapidly due to the big lad deciding that one isn’t enough, as well as teaching Bess, the choccy Lab, his harvesting method. The result of which is that neither of us are flavour of the month. His routine now is to wolf down his meal and then craftily sneak off for dessert. It must be good for him as he is putting on weight. No more, though; the quince have all been picked and Alfie is bereft. Be assured he will find something else to torment me. The sooner we are back stalking the better.
