DIFFERENT APPROACHES FROM THE SEPARATE STANDS

Viewed from Stand One, this is a more or less quartering away clay with little gun movement or perception of lead. It is a case of shooting up the right hand side of the clay and it will run into the pellets. However, from Stand Five the angle is greater and the same clay becomes a true crosser and a different approach is required. To tackle the clay from Stand Five then using the Pull Away technique, Swing Through or Maintained Lead techniques will all work for the right hander.
