Hundreds of hopefuls are just days away from discovering if they have won an incredible shooting prize in the 2018 Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) Gun Draw. The winner of the prize draw, which will take place at GWCT headquarters in Fordingbridge on Friday, 21 December, will receive a day’s driven grouse shooting, a new pair of 12-bore shotguns, a three-hour fitting session and 500 game cartridges — worth a total of £25,000. Tickets cost £50 and you still have a chance to win — just visit Last year’s winner, Mark Deacon from Bedfordshire, said: “It was the first time I had entered such a competition with a prize anything like this. I had never shot grouse before and, as it is something I had promised I would do, I thought it may be worth a punt. “The guns are a massive bonus. I am really humbled by my fellow Guns and shooting acquaintances who have said how pleased they are for me and encouraged by a local Bedfordshire boy to have won.”
