Purdey Cup up for grabs
A competition for game shooters has started at The Royal Berkshire Shooting School. The 100 ‘bird’ course will include simulated grouse, partridge, pheasant and rock pigeon targets. The only stipulation is that the competition, which lasts the entire game season, must be shot using a Purdey or Woodward shotgun. To make the competition fair, Purdey has devised a ‘par score’, whereby anyone shooting better than par will have his or her name entered into a prize draw to join Purdey as its guest for a day’s game shooting in the 2021/22 season. Top shots from each month will shoot in the grand final in May for the Purdey Cup. For details, visit: purdey.com/ purdey-event/the-purdey-cup
