Top marks for natural history idea

BASC has given its backing to a proposed natural history GCSE. Mary Colwell, the naturalist, came up with the idea and has been the driving force behind its promotion. The OCR exam board has conducted a consultation on developing the qualification. Curtis Mossop, BASC’s head of pathways to shooting, said: “BASC is fully supportive of boosting engagement between young people and the natural world.”
