Coming clean

-

I’ve been told that using WD-40 as a cleaning and lubricating agent on shotguns and airguns is not good for them. Is that so?

Ian says: WD-40 is fine to use on the metal but can have adverse effects on woodwork. We would advise using a silicone-based oil instead, as this will be suitable for use on both the metal and woodwork of your gun.
