I also have a ‘sundries’ bag that contains all the things that make life easier. I can list them here: 20 hazel sticks for propping up dead birds; a pair of pliers to break the wings of shot birds prior to mounting them on the flapper; six bungee ropes and tent pegs to secure my hide in strong winds; machete; clicker to record number of birds shot; a number of cable ties (always handy); spare battery for flapper; and clips to secure net to hide poles.
