Driven Gun
In response to a reader’s letter ‘Time to rev things up’. Whilst I understand that a lot of shooting people buy and run a 4x4, the car to me is just a means to get to where I shoot. We have a vintage Land Rover and I have a vintage tractor, if I am looking for things connected to them, I buy a Land Rover or tractor magazine. These publications will offer far more information on the vehicles.
I have been reading your magazine for many years and think it is the best. I read it because I want to read about guns, dogs and the countryside in which I shoot. You have good mix of these, along with articles on our history, products and shooting help. My only gripe is that I can never take advantage of your new reader offers as I have been getting it delivered every month from my local paper shop who I am also loyal to! Please do not turn it into a secondhand car mag. It’s great as it is.
