A friend in need

I am writing this letter to thank all my shooting friends who have helped me through this heartbreaking time. They phoned me, wrote, sent texts and I was overwhelmed by their kindness.

Last November I was admitted to hospital and found to have COVID-19. I came out just before Christmas Day.

My wife also caught the virus in October after open heart surgery a couple of months earlier. She was there until 24 January when she passed away. I am still struggling with grief and depression. Had it not been for my shooting friends I don’t think I would be here now.
