Turning a deaf ear

On a lot of the pictures of you in the magazine, I can’t see if you are wearing ear defenders. Do you wear the ones that fit in the ear, or don’t you wear any?

Peter says: I permanently damaged my hearing when I was 14, and a mate fired a shot over my head while sharing a pigeon hide. I know that is not an excuse not to try to protect what little is left of my hearing, but I find wearing any of the modern defenders really uncomfortable if used for any length of time.
