Dizzying a pigeon

This next exercise should only be undertaken once you are confident that the dog is steady and 100% on the stop whistle. To prepare the pigeon, tuck its head under a wing and kick out a small hollow in an area of rough grass, making sure there is an exit for the bird. Then place some grass over the back of the bird and it should lay there nice and quiet.
