WARTS AND ALL

Warts, or papillomas, used to be more common but are still seen occasionally. They are usually fairly superficial, verrucose growths, and some are caused by a virus. Generally seen in the young or immunocompromised, they can disappear as immunity develops. Removal is only indicated if they are causing damage to the front surface of the eye, the cornea. They look like warts.
