DESCRIPTION
Since opening its doors to the public last year, E J Churchill at The Swinton Estate has brought everything that makes the worldfamous West Wycombe Estate great to the north of England.
Shooters can enjoy numerous Sporting stands spread across the stunning estate, each stand having its own challenge and backdrop. Thanks to the beauty of the location, shooters will find themselves tackling targets on rugged hillsides, through thick woodlands and over pristine rivers.
The E J Churchill team has a keen eye for accessibility – so each stand is designed to welcome all shooters, with wide, solid pathways leading to every corner of the grounds. All the Sporting stands are connected to E J Churchill’s Claymate system, too, so experienced shooters can easily button for themselves and their friends, allowing them to proceed at their own pace.
Alongside the Sporting targets on offer, there’s also an English Skeet arena and plenty of simulated targets to test your skills across multiple High Towers. Tuition is available across all disciplines, both from
E J Churchill’s own coaching team and from a number of top-level freelance instructors who use the ground as their home base.
To match the top-level tuition, E J Churchill is also bringing a number of top-level events to Yorkshire, including The British Open Sporting Championships, which will take place onsite from 1-5 September.
The combination of world-class competitions, excellent target diversity and welcoming staff has made E J Churchill famous. By applying this winning formula to the stunning natural landscapes of Yorkshire’s Swinton Estate, E J Churchill has managed to create another truly great British shooting ground.
