DESCRIPTION

Customer service is at the heart of Bywell Shooting Ground’s business. The onsite staff work hard to ensure that every client is well looked after.

The high level of customer service will be apparent to anyone looking to spend an afternoon on the Sporting stands at Bywell. All practice sessions are caddied, so shooters can relax and leave the scoring and buttoning to the professionals.

The friendly caddies will offer tips on some of the trickier targets, while full-on lessons are available for those looking for in-depth instruction. Bywell’s experienced coaches are able to cover everything from gun fit and eye dominance to more advanced techniques designed to help the competitive shooter gain an advantage at their next major event.

Bywell is itself famed for top-level competitions. Over the years the grounds have hosted a number of world-class events, including British and English Opens and the famed Bywell DTL Weekend. There are regular registered competitions and charity shoots to look forward to each month.

One of the more recent additions to the facilities at Bywell is the vast gunroom. Inside you’ll find everything from the latest sporting models and precision, polymer stocked rifles to heirloom-quality paired shotguns.

Bywell’s dedication to top-level customer service really shines in the gunroom, where knowledgeable staff are able to guide customers through the vast array of guns.

Bywell is worth visiting for its gunroom alone. The fact that there’s also a good selection of practice targets to enjoy and regular competitions to suit shooters of all abilities makes this shooting ground a true shooting centre that’s able to suit the needs of any clay-breaking enthusiast.
