Grouse about ‘propaganda’
I read an article in The Independent recently about Wild Justice pushing for licensed grouse shooting. It said that grouse estates depend on having “unnaturally high densities of red grouse that live in artificially maintained landscapes rich in heather”. I think this is rubbish. If the BASC, the National Gamekeepers’ Organisation and other countryside groups can change the way hundreds of thousands of shooters ‘choose’ their ammunition within a short space of time, surely they can counter this seriously damaging propaganda?
