What do you do with empty cartridge cases after a busy pigeon-shooting session?

Peter says: Although I fire a lot of cartridges during a year, they do not represent a huge bulk of waste. As they are ‘non-hazardous waste’, they can go in your general domestic waste bin. Large quantities are subject to agricultur­al waste regulation­s, however, a few companies now offer a recycling service.
