Sporting Gun

Inspection needed

-

One of my gun’s firing pins often gets stuck in the percussion cap of the cartridge. I have tried different brands of cartridge, but with the same result. Why is this happening and what can be done about it?

Ian says: It is likely that there is damage to the firing pin or the firing pin return spring. It is hard to advise without inspecting the gun, so I would suggest taking it to a gunsmith for an accurate diagnosis of the problem.
