Early and easy does it
Tom says: I don’t have any issues with early season wildfowling. It often makes a nice change of pace from summer vermin control. September mornings typically feel nice and fresh, while providing a hint of optimism about what the season may bring. We have plenty of resident Canadas, greylags and mallard to chase while the numbers of migratory birds begin to build. Mornings are typically my favourite flights early season before the heat of the day gets up to temperature. It is important not to go heavy handed and hit the birds too hard, which is a good general rule to follow throughout the season.
