Packham challenges Defra

Chris Packham has written to Defra asking in a series of Freedom of Information requests about, as he puts it, “the amount of influence that certain external lobbying bodies such as, but not limited to, the National Farmers Union, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) … have within Defra.” At the time of going to press we are not aware of any formal response from Defra to Mr Packham.
