DESCRIPTION
You’ll be hard pressed to find a more picturesque location for a shooting school than Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
■ Sporting is the discipline of choice at Loch Lomond, with stands winding their way through the local woodlands. The targets are designed to offer a challenging, naturalised approach to Sporting shooting, with plenty of high birds and bolting rabbits crossing scenic sightlines.
■ As a shooting school, tuition is available across the estate, and to suit everyone from nervous first-timers and stag-do attendees to international top Shots looking for an exceptional location to practice.
■ Alongside the Sporting stands, Loch Lomond Shooting School also offers archery, with traditional long bows available for use by visitors, and an air rifle range. Though if you want to try something really different, falconry offers a unique challenge. Hawks, falcons, buzzards and owls are all available for demonstrations and flying experiences.
■ All activities can be combined into special day packages to ensure you get a chance to try something new while still getting in a bit of classic Sporting action.
■ The beautiful location combined with the wide variety of exciting activities makes Loch Lomond more than just a ground for local shooters. It is a place where all visitors, shooters or not, can find something to enjoy in one of Scotland’s most captivating landscapes.
