Sporting Gun

Gun mystery

-

What is happening to your magazine? For all the years I have been reading Sporting Gun I was able to buy it on the last day of the month. Then my local Tesco stopped stocking it, so I made a trip into town during the first week of the month to buy it and found that it’s not there till later in the month. Then you incorporated Clay Shooting magazine, of which I have no interest in. And to top it all, last month, I couldn’t find it at all only to locate it in an envelope with another magazine, again one that I’ve no interest in, and at a ‘bargain’ price of £4.99. Is this a way of increasing the price by stealth? Bob via email

Ed – Thanks for your email. The price increase is just to cover the cost of the game shooting book that went with this issue of the magazine. We are running a shooting club guide this issue, but the price is back to £3.99. If you can’t find the magazine in the shops you can buy a single issue online, or subscribe and save a lot of money.
