Velocity is in metres per second (mps) measured at 2.5m from the muzzle. Pressure is the mean breech figure in bar (as per CIP).

Standard Deviation (consistency).

CD

This is the Central Density rating: this records the % of the total pellets landing in the 30in circle that were recorded within the inner 20in circle.

SHOT SIZE

BioAmmo Blue uses an alloy shot, so size is nearest UK diameter and as marked by maker.

SHOT WEIGHT

The average actual shot load, measured in grains. [NB: 28g equals 432 grains; 24g = 370.4 grains; 21g = 324 grains and there are 437.5 grains in 1oz.)

CV

Crush Value. This is the amount by which the shot is reduced in size when subjected to the standard crush test.
