Solo practice rounds are available to licence holders. Clays are priced at £36 per 100 for non-members or £31 for members. TUITION
Individual hourly instruction is available from £66, excluding clays and cartridges. MEMBERSHIP
Single membership is available from £70, with a £60 yearly renewal. Members benefit from reduced rate clays and lessons, and numerous discounts in the shop and clubhouse restaurant. DESCRIPTION
Clay shooting legend John Bidwell heads the team at this CPSA Premier Plus ground which sits just off the A12, between Southwold and Aldeburgh.
Over the years, John has won multiple major championships, assisted in the development of Blaser’s F3 and even produced his own line of trap machines.
His knowledge and experience can be felt across the estate, from the 30-stand Sporting course and six voice-activated Compak layouts to the high-tower array.
If you need help to make the most of the targets on offer, then you should call on the in-house team of APSI-qualified coaches. They’re well versed in all disciplines and can help any shooter improve their technique and boost their scores.
Alongside the clay shooting action, visitors can also enjoy air rifle ranges, fishing and archery. There’s also an extensive shop and gunroom stocking everything from shooting clothing and accessories to clay traps and cartridges.
There’s a well-appointed restaurant too, where diners will find everything from classic bacon baps and full breakfasts to butternut squash burgers.
You’ll need more than a day to make the most of everything at High Lodge. Fortunately, a number of luxury holiday lodges are available on-site, so you won’t have to miss a thing.
