Out in front

I always enjoy it when the new issue of Sporting Gun lands on my doormat but I was especially pleased with the October issue and to see Fran Ardley’s gundog training article ‘Keep it Tight’. One of my spaniels has been pulling out far too much in front of me and with a working test in a couple of weeks I have been tearing my hair out trying to fix this. So, Fran’s article was perfect and although it’s only day one there is an improvement. With regular work over the next couple of weeks I am hopeful of a decent run. Many thanks and keep up the good work, it’s a great magazine.
