Harper Adams wins BUCS championships

More than 300 students flocked to the 100-target event held at Orston Shooting Ground, Notts on 4-5 December. Luke Russell’s score of 95 saw him crowned Overall High Gun and helped his university, Harper Adams, to the top of the Men’s Team Podium with a team score of 352/400. Oxford and

Oxford Brookes took the second and third steps with 336 and 324 respectively.

Faye Wills was the Ladies High Gun, with 80/100. However, this was not enough to place her university on to the Ladies’ Team Podium, where Newcastle claimed the top spot, followed by Liverpool and Nottingham.
