Are jackdaws and rooks significant pest species?
Tom says: I have more issues with jackdaws and rooks on feeders and drillings than any other species. All types of feeders, be they for livestock or game, seem to be easy pickings for the resident corvids on the estate and the bag numbers typically reflect the main issue is with jackdaws and rooks. This is the same when shooting over drillings or stubbles. I have no doubt that they should remain on the general licence as the numbers need to be managed.
