Monday, groups of five shooters or more can attend by appointment only. Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm
PRACTICE ROUNDS
All practice rounds are caddied, 100-target rounds start from £35.
TUITION
One-hour lessons are available from £80, excluding cartridges. including up to 100 clays. An additional shooter can join for an additional £10. Have-a-go sessions start from £35 for 25 clays and cartridges.
DESCRIPTION
Set in a beautiful, wooded valley just three miles south of Ilfracombe, North Devon Shooting Ground makes the most of its stunning surroundings to provide a naturalised sporting experience.
The sporting course winds its way through the valley and offers a wide variety of targets designed to keep shooters of all experience levels entertained. The entire course is reset on a regular basis to deliver an everchanging challenge for returning shooters.
All practice rounds are caddied by an experienced member of staff. Caddies can assist with buttoning and scoring. They will also offer helpful tips and advice when you’re tackling some of the trickier targets.
For a deeper dive into the course and its intricacies, full lessons are offered by owner and target setter Clive Warren. Thanks to more than 17 years on the stands, Clive has developed a keen eye for the needs of his clients. He is just as comfortable teaching old shots the art of the break as he is at helping newcomers discover the sport through his have-a-go sessions.
All lessons include a safety briefing, gun hire, 100 clays and PPE, perfect for those who are new to the sport and have yet to purchase their own equipment, or for holidaymakers who may have left their gear at home.
