DESCRIPTION
Thanks to a raft of one-of-a-kind facilities Holland & Holland Shooting Ground has become one of the most unique shooting venues in the UK.
To start with, there’s a very respectable 120-trap Sporting course to enjoy. Shooters are guided around the course by one of Holland & Holland’s staff to ensure they make the most of the 60-acre estate.
Full lessons are also offered by head coach Chris Bird and his team of instructors. They make the most of all of the on-site facilities to help game, clay and rifle Shots looking to push their skills further.
Holland & Holland Shooting Ground is the proud owner of the UK’s only civilian ‘rifle cinema’, where game from across the globe is projected on to a giant screen, which can be shot at with live ammunition. The footage can then be paused to check for shot placement and zeroing.
Of course, there’s also an extensive gunroom on-site. Inside, visitors will find a large selection of fine Holland & Holland pieces, alongside expert fitters who can even assist with the commissioning of a one-of-a-kind gun.
The gunroom and facilities at Holland & Holland Shooting Ground breathe opulence and if you visit the dining lounge, where head chef Joshua Hunter serves up top-level produce, you will understand that this ground pushes the boundaries of what a clay shooting ground can be.
