Get up to date on the 2018 general licences

Sporting Shooter - - News -

As many will know, general licences permit people to perform certain actions relating to wildlife, which would otherwise be illegal, without the need to apply for individual licences; they cover relatively common situations where there is unlikely to be any significant conservation impact.

Although you don’t need to apply to use a general licence, it is essential that the licence you plan to use is appropriate and that you meet the licence conditions in full.

General licences are renewed annually in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we urge our readers to head over to uk/shooting/general-licences to view the most up to date information on general licences and ensure you are operating within the law in 2018.
