Pigeon shooting made easy

Sporting Shooter - - Readers’ Letters -

As a newcomer to shooting I have been fascinated by your articles on pigeon and corvid shooting, especially the stuff on sitty trees, flappers, 2D decoys, strung-up dead birds, flight lines and hides... all of which conjure up visions of days spent in a field, culminating in a large bag of birds.

I have been observing said birds while driving round the country lanes, looking to see their habits, what attracts them etc, and think I have cracked it!

I will park my car in the middle of the field and shoot them as they fly into the windscreen, or pause overhead to defecate on my paintwork.
