Plenty in store for firm’s egg- cellent Easter appeal

STAFF at a Camberley firm are appealing for donations of Easter eggs to give to patients at Frimley Park Hospital.
Workers at Access Self Storage, in Admiralty Way, are hoping to fill one of its storage units with chocolate eggs as well as biscuits and cakes, which can be dropped off at any time until March 24.
The goodies will be donated to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, to make sure people spending Easter on its wards can still get a taste of the holidays.
Mike Blaszkowicz, manager of Access Self Storage Camberley, said: “If you’re buying Easter eggs for family and friends, please think of the children and adults in hospital who may not receive visitors over Easter, let alone a chocolate egg.
“Easter is early this year but, if we collect as many eggs as possible over the next few weeks, we can still make it a happy occasion for many who are in need of magic and cheer but can’t be with their families.
“This is our first year of getting involved with the company- wide Easter egg appeal and we’ve set ourselves the challenge of beating the Guildford and Kingston branches, where customers regularly donate
at home around 50 eggs to their chosen charities.”
Last year’s national appeal saw Access branches give a total of 500 Easter eggs to eight charities across the UK. Since Access launched the appeal in 2011, more than 2,000 eggs have been donated to dozens of good causes.
