His wife Mar­ion ac­com­pa­nied him on the day to join in the birth­day cel­e­bra­tions.

Reg­u­lar player Gerry Mor­gan gave a short pre­sen­ta­tion to talk about Ken’s 90th birth­day am­bi­tion.

Ken has been a mem­ber of Avon­dale for more than ten years, hav­ing played at sev­eral clubs through­out the South East.

He has en­joyed play­ing ten­nis since he was 25 and also cel­e­brated his 80th birth­day at Avon­dale, when a cake was also baked for him.
