Allocated new to Brighton shed in 1877, Burgundy was moved to Three Bridges circa 1895 and remained there until withdrawal - except for spending the summer of 1925 on loan to Tonbridge to substitute for ‘R’ class tanks. However, Barry Bull adds that Chasewater’s research showed it as having been withdrawn at Littlehamp­ton.
