TOTON REMEMBERED

An exhibition on the history of Toton marshalling yard from 1856 to 1984 is being held at Erewash Museum in Ilkeston until July 15. It includes previously unseen pictures from the NRM collection, recorded memories of former staff, and a display of railwayana. Opening times are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm, and admission is free.
