HOT WHEELS: ‘CLAN’ CASTINGS GET TREATMENT

All four bogie wheel castings for ‘Clan’ No. 72010 Hengist underwent heat treatment at the Boro Foundry, Stourbridge, on February 23. The Standard Steam Locomotive Company has also produced a 3D-printed model of the Riddles ‘Pacific’s’ cylinders, to aid the production of a pattern which, it is hoped, will be completed this year.
