Tyseley waits

Vintage Trains Ltd has confirmed that it will not be able to start its summer season of ‘Shakespeare Expresses’ on July 1 as hoped, while it still awaits the award of its own Train Operating Company safety certificate. However, the Tyseleybased company says that it “hopes to be able to run the later part of the Shakespeare Express season.” It has also been buoyed by the success of its Community Benefit Scheme, which has almost raised its minimum target of £800,000 since its launch in December (SR475).
