foun­da­tions for cor­wen tower

Foun­da­tions have been ex­ca­vated for the GWR‑style wa­ter tower at the Llan­gollen Rail­way’s Cor­wen Cen­tral sta­tion, with the tank ex­pected to be de­liv­ered by the end of April. The west­ern end of the plat­form is com­plete, with the dis­abled ac­cess ramp built and GWR‑style rail­ings erected. The same fenc­ing is be­ing in­stalled at the eastern end of the plat­form, af­ter which the next task will be the con­struc­tion of the six‑ coach Up side plat­form wall.
