LOCAL SERVICES FOR BLUEBELL BRANCH EVENT

A trio of South Eastern & Chatham Railway engines will be in action at the Bluebell’s ‘Branch Line Weekend’ on May 18-20. ‘O1’ No. 65, ‘H’ No. 263 and ‘P’ No. 323 ‘Bluebell’ are rostered to run in a variety of single and double-headed permutations, and will run alongside both Maunsell ‘Q’ No. 30541 and previously advertised visitor Port Talbot Railway 0-6-0ST No. 813. A novel feature of the event will be the operation of local services, and the changeover and layover of engines and stock at intermediate stations. Brake van rides within station limits will also be on offer.
