SLIP DISC

Stratford drivers found the ‘Brits’ a bit draughty in winter and their remedy was to ram a headcode disc between the back frame of their seat and the leather upholstery. It worked, but only on a disc board railway such as the GE - and the Southern, if they had thought of it!
