• CORWEN’S VIP VISIT

Ken Skates, the Welsh Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Transport, visited the Llangollen Railway’s under-construction Corwen Central station on September 21. The new terminus is due to open next year, with the current temporary platform at Dwyrain Corwen East hosting its last trains on November 3, after which it will be dismantled. Trains will then terminate at Carrog until April.
