VALE OF RHEIDOL No. 7 RETURNS TO STEAM
The Vale of Rheidol Railway’s 2-6-2T No. 7 – formerly Owain Glyndwr – hauled its first revenueearning train for 20 years on November 3, for the benefit of a photo charter organised by David Williams. The newly overhauled locomotive started hauling normal service trains the following day, meaning all three VoR tank engines are available for traffic for the first time since 1998.
