Barrow Hill can also start planning for the reconstruction of the original coal stage in earnest, following a £50,000 donation to kick-start the project.

It has been a long-held ambition to recreate the brick structure that once overlooked the shed yard, served by an incline to enable coal wagons to deposit their loads. The project will be fully costed in early 2019.
