• ‘T3’ RESTORATION BEGINS

Restoration of unique London & South Western Railway ‘T3’ No. 563 has begun in earnest at Bill Parker’s Flour Mill workshops in Bream, Forest of Dean.

The copper sides of the firebox have been removed and will be replaced by new metal, for which the Swanage Railway Trust has already placed a £30,000 order (see SR494).
