HOW TO GET THERE

BY CAR: Hythe is three miles from the M20 Junction 11, via the A20 and A261; follow the latter until you see the station on your right. Satnav users use postcode CT21 6LD.

For Dymchurch, leave the M20 at Junction 10 and follow A2070 towards Brenzett and then the A259 to New Romney. Follow the road to Dymchurch then follow signs to the station. Satnav users use postcode TN29 0PJ.

For New Romney, follow the directions above. Turn right at the traffic lights in New Romney and follow brown signs to the station. (Postcode TN28 8PL)

For Romney Sands, follow the directions above to New Romney, but go past the station and turn right at the T-junction. Follow the coast road until you reach the Romney Tavern and Romney Sands Holiday Centre.

For Dungeness, follow directions above towards New Romney. Turn right onto B2075 towards Lydd then follow signposts to Dungeness. (Postcode TN29 9NA)

BY BUS: Hythe is served by Stagecoach buses routes 10 and 10a from Ashford, and routes 16, 16a, 101 and 102 from Folkestone. Dymchurch is served by Stagecoach buses routes 101 and 102 (Folkestone-Lydd). New Romney and Romney Sands are both served by Stagecoach buses routes 101/102 (Folkestone-Lydd) and routes 11 and 11a from Ashford. Dungeness is not currently served by any bus routes, although Stagecoach buses route 11a calls at the Pilot Inn, approximat­ely one mile from the station. BY TRAIN: The nearest major stations to the RHDR are Ashford Internatio­nal and Folkestone, on the St Pancras-Folkestone HS1 main line, from where you can catch local bus services to Hythe, Dymchurch and New Romney (see above). Both are served by frequent Southeaste­rn and Southern rail services from St Pancras, London Bridge, London Victoria and Charing Cross, as well as Eurostar services from Europe.
