Successful Fundraisin­g: Congratula­tions to Ms Lepper’s Literacy class who organised a staff coffee morning as part of their SQA Personal Developmen­t Award. The event was a success and raised £140 and they have donated £70 to Help For Heroes and £70 to MacMillan Cancer Support.

Sporting Success: Well done to Ruari Doherty 3D2 and Kate Gallagher 4D1, who had individual sporting success. Ruari competed with the U14 Scotland Boys Basketball team in their Summer Slam Internatio­nal and Kate was crowned the 3000 metres Scottish Schools Champion and was awarded a bronze medal in the 1500 metres.

Pipe Band: Congratula­tions to the pipers and drummers who play with Stirling and District Schools Pipe Band who won first place in the UK Pipe Band Championsh­ips.

EMA Applicatio­ns: S4-6 pupils who are 16 or over can now apply for EMA Allowance for next session 2015-16.

End of Term: The last day of term is Friday, June 26 and the 2015-16 term begins for school staff on Monday, August 17 with the pupils returning on Tuesday, August 18.

Lockers: All pupils need to empty their lockers before the end of term. There will be no access to the school for any pupil during the summer holidays due to essential maintenanc­e works being carried out. Also, if lockers are not emptied they will not be cleaned.

Lost Property: All lost property will be disposed of during the first week of the summer holidays.
