Parish Church Sunday worship takes place at the usual time of 11am and will be conducted by Rev Ian Paterson. Service will include Sunday school prizegivin­g. Lecropt Kirk Service of Induction for Rev Gary Caldwell will take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 7pm in St Blane’s Church, Dunblane. On Sunday morning worship at Lecropt will commence at 11.30am and will be conducted by Mr Caldwell, the new minister. Creche and Sunday school meet at same time in the hall. Fitness classes Bridge of Allan Church Hall hosts the following classes: Young at Heart Gold – a dance fitness class for seniors on Mondays from 2-2.45pm and Fridays from 11-11.45am; Young at Heart dance and toning on Tuesdays from 2-3pm. Bridge of Allan Primary School The annual summer fair takes place on Saturday, June 20 from noon till 2pm at the school. All welcome and the entertainm­ent includes a tombola, plant stall, toy and book stall and home baking. There will also be a football tournament, a triathlon changeover challenge and other games in the playground. A raffle is also on offer with a variety of great prizes. Entry is £1.50 for adults - free for children - and includes tea or coffee and a scone. Les Miserables Beaconhurs­t School pupils will be performing the popular musical Les Miserables at the Macrobert Arts Centre. The show takes place on Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25. Set in 19th Century France, Les Miserables is based on the novel by Victor Hugo and follows the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant who breaks his parole to create a new life for himself. Relentless­ly tracked by a police inspector named Javert, Valjean is swept into a revolution­ary period in France where a group of young idealists make their last stand at the barricades. The musical starts at 7.30pm on each evening and tickets cost £12 for adults plus £6 for children, students and senior citizens.
