New digital training workshops are a hit with small businesses

-

Digital support and training is available to small businesses.

Nearly 40 firms based in Stirling have already taken advantage of a new series of digital workshops launched earlier this year and others are being urged to sign up to the next phase of new, local training programmes.

Jayne Stirling from Business Gateway, Stirling said: “The digital world is having a greater impact on how everyone does business and has the scope to open up new opportunities.

“Th e D i g i t a l B o o s t workshop programme has provided businesses with a better understanding of how digital technology can have a positive impact on their business.

“I’d encourage business owners in Stirling to speak to us about the workshops and specialist one to one support.”

The DigitalBoost workshops have been designed to help small to medium sized businesses improve their digital presence, understand and communicate with their customers better, improve systems processes and research and ultimately increase sales.

The f ree half day workshops wi l l run throughout May and June and include:

Website data analytics: May 12 from 9.30am to 12.30pm

Digital marketing strategy: May 5 and June 9, both 9.30am to 12.30pm

Digitise your business processes: May 19 and June 16, both 9.30am to 12.30pm

All workshops are being held at John Player Building, at Stirling Enterprise Park.

As well as the local workshop programme, one to one adviser sessions with digital specialists are also available to eligible businesses that would benefit from extra support on digital topics.

Access to one to one support is by referral from a business adviser based in a local Business Gateway office.
