Red and black theme on stunning Evoque

New limited edition Hyundai citycar takes fleet title

- Summer arrival WITH JOHN MURDOCH

Land Rover is about to introduce an exclusive special edition of its fastest selling model, the Range Rover Evoque.

As part of a package of enhancements to the luxury compact SUV, the Ember edition features a bold red and black theme.

The new 2017 model year Evoque also offers Land Rover’s next-generation InControl Touch Pro infotainment across the range, providing a 10.2-inch tablet-style pinch and zoom touchscreen control and a customisable home screen to enable favourite apps to be available readily.

The Range Rover Evoque, which established the premium compact SUV sector when it was launched in 2011, has surpassed 520,000 sales globally and has amassed 182 international awards.

The red and black Ember specials are based on the Evoque HSE Dynamic trim level. On the special models a distinctive Firenze Red roof contrasts with the Santorini Black body colour and is complemented by matching exterior design elements, including the front and rear tow eye covers.

The addition of special ‘EVOQUE’ tailgate badging in black, with a silver surround, and back ‘RANGE ROVER’ lettering on the bonnet are other stand out features.

The car sits on black 20-inch alloy wheels and has black exhaust finishers, a black grille and darkened front and rear lights.

The Ember theme continues inside, with black leather seats with a red stitch, complemented by black and red premium carpet mats and gloss black trim finishes.

The Range Rover Evoque Ember will be available to order in the summer with prices from £47,200. Hyundai’s i10 has won ‘Best City Car’ at the 2016 Fleet World Honours for the second consecutive year.

Praised for its practicality, generous equipment and competitive running costs, the Hyundai i10took top honours in one of the most competitive categories. Hyundai’s strong fleet proposition is founded on low BIK banding and competitive P11D levels, areas in which the i10 excels boasting 16% BIK for its SE Blue 1.0 model.

Guy Pigounakis, Fleet Director, Hyundai Motor UK, said, “We are immensely proud that the Hyundai i10 continues to impress the fleet industry judges winning the city car category for the second time. Our designers and engineers created a stylish, comfortable and economical city car, which uniquely combines the agility of a small car with the features from the segment above. Reinforced by our 5 Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty, the i10 is a car that continues to prove a hit with our fleet and retail customers alike.”
